ChiangMai is known as the coffee capital of Thailand. Coffee was introduced to the hill tribes in the mountainous regions 800 meters about sea level around Northen Thailand in the 1980s as a cash crop alternative to growing opium poppies. The government introduce a strain of Arabica from Central America that was well suited to the region and thrived. Now Thailand is the third leading coffee producer in Asia. I use an espresso machine Delonghi at my house and we can have a coffee 100% arabica Chiangmai during our cooking class.
“Help for the hill tribes and the Hill Tribes Development Project has given direct benefits to the tribes by helping them to grow useful crops and enabling them to have a better standard of living. One of the reasons underlying the creation of the project was humanitarianism; the desire that these people living in remote areas should become self-supporting and more prosperous.

Also introduce a herb garden for Thai kitchen such as lemongrass, Kaffir lime, sweet basil, holy basil etc. at my house.You will prepare all ingredients by yourself and have your own cooking station.I will help you in every steps and explain cooking dishes background.
